How to get the most out of AI roleplay
Good roleplay is a conversation between two storytellers. These habits help:
- Set the scene in your first message: where you are, what just happened and who you're playing.
- Write actions as well as dialogue. *I lean against the doorframe* gives her more to react to than a single line.
- Leave room for her to surprise you instead of scripting every beat.
- Steer when you want to. If the story drifts, tell her what you'd like to happen next, in or out of character.
- Come back later. Your chat and her memories are saved, so a storyline can run for days.
Romance, fantasy and everything in between
