Why does JanitorAI load but not reply?

Replies come from the AI model you chat with, not the website. If the site loads but replies fail, check the status page and the reports on this page, then try again in a few minutes. If you use an outside model or API key, check that provider as well.

Is JanitorAI safe?

As of October 18, 2026: JanitorAI's terms say it's only for adults 18 and older, and it verifies ages in Australia, Brazil and the UK. Bots with romantic or sexual themes must be tagged Limitless, while Limited bots are for general audiences (help). Payments go through Stripe, and JanitorAI says it doesn't see or store your card details. Deleting your account permanently removes your posts, characters, personas and profile (help).

How do I cancel Janitor+?

On the web, go to Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription. You're sent to Stripe's billing page, where you can cancel. If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, cancel in the App Store or Google Play: app subscriptions can't be canceled on the web. You keep Janitor+ until the end of the period you paid for (JanitorAI help). Billing questions go to billing@janitorai.com.
