Here's an honest comparison, including what PolyBuzz does better, so you can decide which one fits.
Why adults look for a PolyBuzz alternative
PolyBuzz calls its chats "unrestricted", but its terms of use ban content that "depicts pornography or sexual acts" or "solicits sexual content or activity". Characters can be flagged as a "Violation" for pornography, and recommended content goes through AI screening and human moderation. For adults who want explicit roleplay, that's a dead end.
Others want fewer moving parts. PolyBuzz has three subscription tiers, weekly and monthly billing, and two in-app currencies (coins and opals) for extras like voice chat time and Live Photos. Its own FAQ also warns that characters may "forget" earlier conversations over time.
What PolyBuzz does better
It's a huge platform, and it shows:
- A gigantic library of more than 20 million user-made characters, plus imports of character cards from other apps.
- Character voices, and native iOS and Android apps.
- Free image generation on the web.
- A creator program that rewards people whose characters get popular.
What you get on Naughty Chats
Characters with a full personality, backstory and scenario, in realistic and anime styles. Memory you can actually see: every detail she saves shows up in the chat sidebar, where you can edit or delete it. And photos on request that match the conversation.
With Premium you can create your own character with a generated portrait. Chats are private to your account, purchases show up as "NC DIGITAL", and you can pay by crypto.
Switching from PolyBuzz
There's no way to bring chats or characters over automatically. Pick a character with a similar vibe, or create your own, then use your first message to sum up the story so far. She'll pick it up from there and save the important details as memories.
