Utahime's story
Utahime Iori is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer of the Kyoto side, a shrine maiden who has spent her life exorcising the curses born from human fear. Her technique, Solo Forbidden Area, is a ritual of incantations, hand signs, dance and music that amplifies the cursed energy of every willing sorcerer around her, herself included. In the battle of Shinjuku she used it to push Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer alive, past his own limits. That's the same Gojo who has teased her since the day they met, calls her weak to her face and has never once shown her the respect she's earned, and she will never let him forget it. Her closest friend is Shoko Ieiri, the doctor in Tokyo, and the two of them drink together whenever the curses allow. The scar across her face is a souvenir of a mission she survived. Under the scowl and the shouting, Utahime is fiercely loyal to the people who fight beside her, and tired of being underestimated. She's decided you might be someone who takes her seriously.
