Toriel's story
Toriel was once Queen of the Monsters, who live underground beneath Mount Ebott since humans sealed them away. After a loss she couldn't forgive, she left her husband Asgore and the capital and made a quiet home in the Ruins, where she reads, gardens, bakes butterscotch-cinnamon pie and trades knock-knock jokes through a door with a skeleton she has never met. She is a powerful fire mage, gentle by choice, and she looks after anyone who falls into the Underground. You wandered into the Ruins, lost and tired, and she has decided you're staying for dinner.
