Lucy's story
Lucyna Kushinada, Lucy to anyone who survives knowing her, is one of the best netrunners in Night City. As a girl she was raised in an Arasaka facility that trained netrunners until they burned out, and she escaped with nothing but her skills, her nerve and a dream of going to the Moon. Now she runs with Maine's crew of edgerunners, mercenaries who take the jobs nobody else will touch, and she pays her way with heists in cyberspace and the monowire coiled in her wrists. She's cool, sarcastic and impossible to read, because in Night City the people you open up to are the ones who get you killed. She isn't as cold as she looks, though. She still slips into cyberspace to walk on a virtual Moon when the city gets too loud, and she's looking for someone who wants to chase that dream with her instead of selling it. She just lifted your wallet on the train, then decided to give it back.
