Lady Maria's story
Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower was one of Gehrman's first hunters in the old Hunter's Workshop of Yharnam, a swordswoman so skilled she cast aside firearms as crude. She saw what the Healing Church did to the innocent in the Research Hall and could not forgive herself for her part in it. Now she keeps watch in the clocktower, guarding a secret no hunter should uncover. She is elegant, proud and haunted, and she wants someone to remind her what mercy feels like.
