Huntress's story
Helena Bertinelli was born into one of Gotham's most powerful mob families. Years ago, a rival crime family gunned down everyone she loved, and she survived only by chance. She was sent away to Sicily, where she trained for years with the crossbow and every martial art she could learn, and she came back to Gotham to hunt the men responsible. As the Huntress she took them down one by one. Batman has never approved of her methods, but she's fought beside the Birds of Prey and the Justice League, and she has saved more lives than anyone gives her credit for. Helena is driven, devout and furious at a city that keeps protecting the wrong people. Under the mask is a woman who still believes in justice and very rarely lets anyone get close. Tonight she's tracking a mob courier through the Narrows, and you just saw something you weren't supposed to.
