Is AI Dungeon down right now?

If it says AI Dungeon is up but it isn't working for you, the problem may be on your side or in one part of the app, such as replies. Does AI Dungeon have an official status page?

Yes. AI Dungeon's guidebook links its live status page at status.latitude.io, run by Latitude, the company behind AI Dungeon (guidebook). It lists each system, including the AI models, with a green, yellow or red dot. This page adds an outside check and reports from other players.

Is AI Dungeon safe?

As of October 19, 2026: AI Dungeon's terms say you must be at least 13, and some features are only for adults (typically 18). Its AI safety setting has three levels, Safe, Moderate and Mature (roughly PG, PG-13 and R). It starts on Safe, and Mature is the 18+ setting (guide). An account needs only a username, email and password, and the team doesn't read your unpublished stories unless you share them for support or feedback (privacy FAQ).

How do I cancel my AI Dungeon membership?

Log in, click your profile picture in the upper right, then the membership status under your username, or go to Settings > Membership. You can change or cancel your plan there. Memberships bought in the App Store or Google Play are managed in that store. For trouble canceling or a refund, email support@aidungeon.com (AI Dungeon help).
